Underfloor heating systems provide central heating where it is needed most - at the floor. Warm water and electric under-floor heating are a viable alternative to conventional central heating both in domestic and commercial applications.

Underfloor heating has been in use since Roman times but it is the significant improvement in modern components and system designs that have meant that Thermo-Floor underfloor heating can now be used with most floor types (including joisted and battened floors) and with most floor finishes (including wood, laminates and carpeting).

The efficient way that the floor is heated means less heat loss, even distribution of heat, lower operating temperatures, healthier and more comfortable environments and greater design flexibility. All of these mean that underfloor heating is Eco-friendly, uses less fuel, can be used with alternative heat sources (e.g. solar and geothermal) and operates at a lower cost than conventional systems.
