New Midlands Office follows Dutch Acquisition

Thermo-floor Ltd are to expand their base in the Midlands after the successful take-over by Dutch under floor heating giant WTH Heating & Cooling Systems. It’s been about two years since Thermo-floor first expanded their operation from their Head Office on the south coast as the need developed to service increasing business in the Midlands and north of England.

As one of the largest under floor heating companies in Europe, WTH intend to establish Thermo-floor as The UK’s market leader and have made significant investment into the infrastructure of the company. The HQ has also moved into newly converted premises to help enhance the communications within the group.

Heading up the Midlands division from their Leicestershire base in Station Road, Lutterworth is Neil Evans. He said, “It’s an exciting time to be part of Thermo-floor who already had a great reputation since inception in 1986. Now we are able to offer the full product portfolio and support that you might expect from a market leading company, including a new training programme which will be operated from Holland”.

With demand for under floor heating steadily increasing in this country, WTH may have timed their acquisition perfectly and could well capitalise on their investment in a relatively short period. With a new advertising campaign and custom built exhibition stand in place, their presence in the market place is certainly on the increase so you’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more about Thermo-floor in the months ahead.
