Manifold Selection

You will ﬁnd a useful guide to our underfloor heating and cooling manifolds here. We have different manifold types for main and additional heating. There are also units available for special applications, such as heating and cooling with a single system or for cold store ﬂoor protection.

Additional Underfloor Heating Manifold for Bathroom or Kitchen Heating

RUBK-R and RUBK-RT

The RUBK-R underfloor heating manifold is fully assembled, pressured tested to 700 kPa and epoxy coated. The unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets, a built-in circulation pump, return ball valve and 2 zone isolation valves for the heating tube.

Also included:electric cable for the pump, thermometer, high limit thermostat, mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers for the manifold, user guide, guarantee and thermostatic valve with water temperature sensor for the ﬂow.

Thermostatic control for the supply water temperature.

The maximum length of the tube to be connected is 90 metres.

Also available as T-type (100% hydraulic neutral): RUBK-RT. This unit also has a non-return valve. This valve closes when the boiler pump stops and opens when the boiler pump starts on demand from the ﬂoor heating. This valve is automatic.

RUB-R and RUB-RT

The RUB-R underfloor heating manifold is fully assembled, pressure tested to 700 kPa and epoxy coated. The unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets, an integrated circulation pump for 1 to 4 loops or a U-tube construction with built-in circulation pump for, 5 to 20 loops, return ball valve and 2 isolation valves for the heating tube.

Also included:electric cable for the pump, 1 thermometer (2 thermometers with units of 5 to 20 groups), high limit thermostat, mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers for the manifold, user guide, guarantee, and thermostatic valve with water pump temperature sensor in the ﬂow.

The maximum length of the tube for 1 to 4 loops is 105 metres per loop.

Main heating

RUH-N (Manifold main heating with zone control)

The main underfloor heating manifold RUH-R/TH 7420 is used but is ﬁtted with a thermometer and pressure gauge. Zone control includes: a preset TS-valve per ﬂoor heating loop, suitable for both thermal actuator and manual operation. (24V or 230V thermal actuators and hand caps can be ordered separately.).

The built-in circulation pump is replaced by a variable speed UPE pump for adjusting the ﬂow rate to the number of zones calling for heat.

LTS-N (Manifold low-temperature system special)

The underfloor heating manifold LTS is fully assembled, pressure tested to 700 kPa and epoxy coated.

This unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets, ﬁlling and drainage tap, a ball valve in the supply and return and 1 hand-operated control valve per loop with connections for the heating tube.

Also included: 1 thermometer, a mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers, user guide and guarantee card.

Option: control for LTS consisting of: 1 regulating thermo stat and 1 high
limit thermo stat.

KMV (low-temperature plastic manifold)

Factory assembled plastic modular underfloor heating manifold, including air vent, drain with tap connection, end caps and mounting brackets. Supply and return connections with brass 1”- female thread and loop connections for the heating tube. The ﬂow for each loop has a hand-operated valve. The return header has an isolation valve with ﬂow meter.

Option:� Thermo-Floor offers a complete package giving the option to add extra groups.

Option: Thermo-Floor can ﬁt isolating valves on the underfloor heating manifold ﬂow and return.

Option: Manual control valves can be replaced with 24V or 230V thermal actuators.

Special applications

LT-VK (Manifold for simultaneous heating and cooling)

The LT-VK manifold is fully assembled and pressure tested to 700 kPa. The unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets and 3 ball valves on the ﬂow connections. Each loop is ﬁtted with 2 preset TS-valves for the heating and cooling, 1 isolating ball valve with ﬂow meter and connections for the heating tube.

Also included: 2 thermometers, a mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers, user guide and guarantee card. The thermal actuators required are supplied 24V as standard (230V (D521) - Optional).

RU-WW (Manifold with heat exchanger for heating or cooling)

The RU-WW manifold is fully assembled and pressure tested to 700 kPa. The unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets, thermostatic valve with water temperature sensor in the ﬂow and a ball valve on the return. For each loop; 1 isolation valve, 1 hand-operated control valve with connections for the heating tube, a water circulation pump, heat exchanger and pressure relief valve.

Also included:1 thermometer, 1 pressure gauge, 1 expansion vessel, mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers for the manifold, user guide and guarantee card.

RU-WK (Manifold with heat exchanger for separate heating and cooling system)

The RU-WK manifold is fully assembled and pressure tested to 700 kPa. The unit consists of: a manifold with welded support brackets, a thermostatic control valve in the ﬂow of the heating circuits and a ball valve in the return of the cooling circuit. For each loop; 1 isolation valve,
1 hand-operated control valve with connections for the heating tube, water circulation pump, heat exchanger and pressure relief valve.

Also included:1 thermometer, 1 pressure gauge, a mounting kit with rubber shock absorbers,thermostatic valve with water temperature sensor in the ﬂow, user guide and guarantee card. The thermal actuators require (24V or 230V) which can be ordered separately.

WTH Manifold Supports

For temporarily suspending a WTH manifold where there is no wall, Thermo-Floor can provide height adjustable manifold supports. The support is manufactured from galvanised mild steel. These supports are designed to fit around all manifolds. Assembly and installation guides are included.

WTH Manifold Cabinets

WTH has developed a special manifold cabinet to suit most of our manifolds. These manifold cabinets are adjustable in height, come with a mounting frame, louvers,� lock and are coated with a scratch resistant enamel. This means the cabinet can be used as both an internal or surface mounted cabinet.
